Protecting Park Lands

The Friends of Metro Parks holds conservation easements to ensure that sensitive park land is protected regardless of future progress. 

​It is the right and responsibility of the Friends of Metro Parks to ensure these easements are maintained as high-quality wetlands or parklands.

  • Firestone Metro Park - 98.83 acres

  • Valley View - 75.27 acres

  • Liberty Park - 3.843 acres

  • Furnace Run - 6.061 acres
